【2026 JSID Launches Large-Scale Urban Design Project in Kalaw, Integrating BIM Technology with Local Expertise】

Headline Suggestion: JSID Partners with M.K.T Construction to Launch Major Urban Design Project in Kalaw, Combining BIM Technology with Local Expertise

Body Text: Targeting the immense potential of Myanmar’s tourism and real estate sectors, the JSID (Jeser International) team—led by Taipei Architect Joseph Chan, BIM Director Alex Huang, and Yangon-based Senior Architect Pan Ei—visited M.K.T Construction, a leading construction firm in Myanmar.
The team presented a comprehensive proposal for a major development project located in the highland resort town of Kalaw.

The meeting centered on a large-scale urban design project spanning 8 acres. Architects Joseph Chan and Pan Ei combined international vision with deep local expertise to present a master plan that harmonizes seamlessly with Kalaw’s mountainous terrain.
The proposal encompasses boutique hotels, a high-end villa community, and mixed-use townhouse complexes.
The goal is to establish the most iconic leisure and commercial hub in the Kalaw region, preserving the area’s natural charm while infusing it with modern residential and commercial functionality.

On the technology front, BIM Director Alex Huang demonstrated to the M.K.T team how AI computing and BIM technology can be leveraged to optimize such large-scale mixed-use developments. Through Digital Twin technology, JSID can accurately simulate building massing and landscape views on the hillside terrain during the design phase, allowing for effective control over construction budgets and schedules.

The visit was successfully concluded with the critical local coordination of Senior Architect Pan Ei. It not only strengthened the collaborative partnership between JSID and M.K.T Construction but also established a solid foundation for the Kalaw project built on “International Design, Local Depth, and Technological Value.”
