Anchored in the landscapes of Zhongpu, the imagery of Alishan, and the continuous flow of life, this project translates local essence into a distinct architectural vocabulary.
Architectural Language & Spatial Experience
The exterior utilizes perforated metal mesh to trace the undulating contours of the plains and mountains. Paired with continuous arcs, it gently guides visitors into the space, symbolizing the eternal, river-like flow of life.
At the entrance, robust fair-faced concrete walls forge a serene and ritualistic transition, reminiscent of a natural mountain crevice. Through the seamless integration of landscape, materiality, and spatial circulation, the overall design culminates in a grounded, introverted farewell space deeply connected to nature.
